S8 Console for Linux

Start up development kit to build frameworks (and automate building) in console mode under Linux. Includes machinery for S8 prepared to run under ia32 and x64 architectures for *nix OS.

Decompress tar.gz file and open "ReadMe.txt" file for more details.

• Download the S8 Console framework and gunzip it.
• Run ./s8/console/console.ia32.sh or ./s8/console/console.x64.sh (depending on which architecture would you want to execute s8) to enter console mode S8.
  • At the prompt type expressions in javascript e.g.
  • "3 + 4".doIt()
  • The result of evaluation (DoIt) will be shown.
  • To change the vm in which the console execute on, change the files in the directory ./s8/console.
• To see an example of framework building, run ./s8/buildScripts/buildFramework.sh.
  • To change the vm in which the build scripts execute on, change the files in the directory ./s8/buildScripts.
• You can also modify the files in tools directory to add files to the builds or frameworks.
• You can also modify the files in src to modify the sources of the proyects.
